McClay Library Closes for Renovations

The branch will close through September for interior improvements. Check out two other branches to visit.

The McClay branch of the St. Charles City-County Library District closed Aug. 11 for several weeks as it gets a fresh coat of paint and other interior improvements. The branch is expected to reopen in late September.

Other improvements include:

  • New checkout and reference desks
  • Updated restrooms
  • Floor plan changes that will create space
Patrons are able to return books to the library during renovations or to return them to other nearby branches.

Both the Kathryn Linnemann Library Branch and Spencer Road Library Branch have recently been renovated.
