Love is in the air at Five Acres Animal Shelter. The week of February 10th-16th the shelter will offer a Valentine’s special. All dogs and cats over 6 months old will be $14. Stop by Five Acres noon-6pm Saturday and Sunday or 2-6pm Tuesday through Friday.

More About Five Acres Animal Shelter
Five Acres Animal Shelter (formerly the St. Charles Humane Society) is a no-kill shelter that accepts and adopts dogs and cats. Animals available for adoption can be viewed during normal business hours. An appointment is necessary to surrender a cat or dog. The shelter finds homes for over 500 animals each year. The Shelter offers presentations for the community about animals and animal topics free of charge. Boy and girl scout groups and school groups are also welcome to take shelter tours. The shelter also has a gift shop on site that sells toys, treats and other pet products.
