Missouri Choral Society Christmas Concert
The fall concert by the Missouri Choral Society, founded as the Saint Charles Choral Society in 1971. The members of the choral society are seasoned choral musicians and volunteers. Since its inception, the choral society is under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Greenlaw.
The concert celebrates the Christmas season with Vivaldi's Gloria; Malcolm's Missa Ad Praesepa; and a selection of Christmas anthems and carols.
The performances will be Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church 6199 Waterman, St. Louis; and Dec. 2, at 2:30 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 801 First Capitol Drive, St. Charles.

First United Methodist Church has been in St. Charles since the early 1820s. Since then, the congregation has grown to more than 1,400 members with an average Sunday attendance of 600 people. The church offers four Sunday services. Three traditional services are at 8, 9:30 and 11am in the sanctuary; a contemporary services is offered elsewhere in the church at 10:45am. The church offers both a Mother's Day Out childcare program for children ages six weeks to four years old and a preschool program for children ages three to five.
