The Christian Hospital Diabetes Institute mobile unit will be at the St. Charles County Family YMCA on Friday,
November 16th, from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Free diabetes screenings will be available.
The Diabetes BustersSM Mobile Unit is a 40-foot motor coach equipped with:
- An On-Board Nurse's Station Staffed by a team of licensed health care professinals
- TV Screens Inside and Out Displaying Health
Information - State-of-the-Art Telecommunications
- Two Examination Areas
Glucose screenings are free of charge at sites throughout the area. Screenings may also include blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass index.
Results are available in minutes, so you can take them with you and discuss them with your physician. Or call Joyce Hoth at 314-436-1177 with your A1C test score to see if you qualify for the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program.
