For St. Charles High School senior Autumn Olendorff Wednesday, February 6 was a moment she has been building toward since she was a little girl. This Wednesday was National Signing Day, the first day that high school seniors nationwide can sign their letter of intent to play sports at the college level.
On this day at 5:30am Autumn signed her letter to play Womens Soccer at Lindenwood University. Later that day at St. Charles High School Autumn and her mother, Lisa, and brother, Colt, attended a ceremony and photo opportunity to commemorate this proud moment for both the Olendorff family and St. Charles High School.
As Autumn begins to close her high school sports career and begin her college career she reminded us that she still is looking forward to the spring girls soccer season and has some goals to accomplish and and hopefully some goals to score. I for one am looking forward to watching this season and wish Autumn great success in her next four years.
