JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Rep. Chrissy Sommer, R-St. Charles, has been named Vice Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee on General Administration. Selected by the Speaker of the House, Timothy Jones, Rep. Sommer will play a key role in the development of legislation assigned to the House Appropriations Committee on General Administration.

“I am pleased the Speaker has entrusted me with this tremendous responsibility,” said Sommer. “There are numerous highly qualified representatives capable of administering this Vice Chairmanship and to be chosen is truly a great honor.”

The first meeting of the House Appropriations Committee on General Administration will be scheduled for later this month.
