Winners of 2013 Fête de Glacé Announced
Crowds watched as ice carvers competed to be the crowd favorite.
Crowds flocked to North Main Street Saturday to watch ice carvers transforms large blocks of ice into everything from a castle to a pig.
The 2013 Fête de Glacé winners were announced Saturday afternoon.
In the five block team carver competition, Russel/Helms took top prize for their sculpture "Castle Fight," while Snider/Phetsadasack took second for "The Reef."
In the individual master carver class, Johnathan Russell took first prize for "Princess."
Eric Snider took second place for "Flying High" and Burkemper took third place for "Wing Flight."

My friend & I really enjoyed the day. I'm sorry to see the Bar-B-Que and the 3 pigs didn't win anything, that was a marvelous sculpture.
