Welcome to "Chowdown Showdown"—a column aimed at finding the best foodie finds in St. Charles County.
The weekly "Chowdown Showdown," which starts now, is meant to be a way for readers to pick and vote on their favorite places to get certain entrees in St. Charles County. Each week, we will ask you to tell us your favorite place to get a cup of coffee or a burger or breakfast.
With the cooler temperatures coming in on Sunday and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, our minds have turned to those delicious fall lattes. We want to know where you get the best pumpkin lattes, gingerbread lattes and those great winter mint flavored lattes.
This week we want to know: Where is the best place in St. Charles County to get fall-flavored lattes?
You can let us know your favorite spot by commenting below. Tell us your favorite spot and flavor of drink. You will be able to submit your vote through 5 p.m. Tuesday.
From there, we will take the top three finalists and post them in an article first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again—this time for the "Chowdown Showdown" champion.
Voting will continue through 5 p.m. Thursday, and we will announce the winner first thing Friday morning.

The Bridge in New Town. I had a Mocha - hot, not too sweet-lat week that was great.
On Rue Royale. Give it a try - other flavors, too.

The best place I can think of to get any kind of Latte is the Bike Stop Cafe in Frenchtown.

The 2nd Street Bike Stop Cafe in Frenchtown has the best lattes. The Peppermint Snowman with soy milk is my favorite!
