Welcome to "Chowdown Showdown," a feature to help us locate the best foodie finds in St. Charles County. And we're leaving the decision to you, our readers. Each week, we will ask you to tell us your favorite place to get a cup of coffee or a burger or breakfast. 

Soon it will be time to stuff those stockings. And what better to stuff them with than chocolate? Mmmmmmmm. Chocolates make great hostess gifts for holiday parties, too—whether the chocolate is in the form of fudge, truffles, caramel creams or chocolate-covered cherries. We want to know: Where is the best place in St. Charles County to get chocolates?

You can let us know your favorite spot by commenting below. You will be able to submit your vote through 5 p.m. Tuesday. 

From there, we will take the top three finalists and post them in an article first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again—this time for the "Chowdown Showdown" champion.

Voting will continue through 5 p.m. Thursday, and we will announce the winner first thing Friday morning.
