What's Closed in St. Charles on Labor Day?

St. Charles City Hall will close Sept. 3.

 

St. Charles City Hall will be closed Sept. 3 in observance of Labor Day. 

The city's trash and recycling collection will move to next-day service with Monday routes being picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday routes being picked up on Wednesday and so on. 

Wapelhorst Pool will be open Sept. 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sept. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sept. 3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

St. Charles County Mid East Area Agency on Aging Senior Centers will be closed.

Federal and state offices will be closed, including the Post Office and Missouri Career Center. St. Charles County Government offices and the St. Charles County Courthouse will also be closed. 

In general:

  • Banks are closed on Labor Day. 
  • Retail stores are open at the owner's discretion. 
  • Restaurants are open at the owner's discretion. 
  • The St. Charles County YMCA will be open from 9 a.m. to noon.
  • Dierbergs and Walgreens will be open normal hours, although Walgreens pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
