Video: Lindenwood Accepted into NCAA as Provisional Member

University will join the MIAA.

The school will follow Division II regulations and rules but would not be able to compete in post season games in 2012-13. 

The University will be a part of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, which has 15 schools in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

According to a press release, Lindenwood will sponsor 27 sports including basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, lacrosse, indoor and outdoor track and field, volleyball, swimming and diving and tennis for both men and women; football, baseball and wrestling for men, and field hockey, gymnastics, ice hockey and softball for women.
