St. Louis is 6th Best for Celebrating St. Patrick's Day

St. Louis ranks No. 6 in a list of best places to party for St. Patrick's Day. How is St. Charles on St. Patty's Day?

Shindigz, a party supply website, named St. Louis the No. 6 place in the country to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day based on our Michelob 5 Mile Run, which will host more than 13,000 runners this year, as well as the St. Patty’s Day parade with balloons, Irish dancers, horses and floats.

About 11 percent of the United States identifies as Irish, according the census data quoted in a Shindigz press release. St. Louis’ Irish population is slightly lower than the average at 8.6 percent, according to city-data.com.
