St. Charles Teen Charged After Trading Pills for Cigarettes at Francis Howell North
Michael Stewart, 18, of the 3000 block Willow Wood Drive, was charged Jan. 22 with two counts of intent to distrubte a controlled substance relating to an incident on March 2, 2012, at Francis Howell North High School.
A St. Charles teen has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with an intent to distribute after traded prescription bills for cigarettes.
Michael Stewart, 18, of the 3000 block Willow Wood Drive, was charged Jan. 22 with two counts of intent to distribute a controlled substance relating to an incident on March 2, 2012, at Francis Howell North High School. According to the probable cause statement, police said that Stewart was in possession of five hydrocodone and acetaminophen, 0.5 grams of methylphenidate and one amphetamine pill.
St. Peters Police said Stewart took the pills, knowing they were a controlled substance, from his parents with the intent to sell to a juvenile at the school. Police said Stewart exchanged one hydrocodone pill to the juvenile student in exchange for two Edgefield Menthol King cigarettes.
Bond was set at $25,000.00 with 10 percent authorized and was posted on Jan. 30.

This is epidemic and needs to be addressed early and often. www.notevenonce.org is a good resource to learn additional information and info and to connect with others who are aware and involved. Help this guy realize early this is not a good manner to earn money or to cope with life.
