St. Charles Man Charged With Second Jailhouse Attack
Steven T. Scott is accused of punching another inmate eight to 10 times in an unprovoked assault, St. Charles County Corrections officials said.
A man is accused of a second assault on a St. Charles County prisoner within the last year.
Steven T. Scott, 20, of the 400 block of Houston Street in St. Charles, was charged Feb. 8 with third-degree assault.
An investigator said Scott punched another inmate in the head eight to 10 times without provocation Jan. 28 at the St. Charles County Justice Center, 200 North Second St. in St. Charles.
The other inmate received stitches above his eye, bruising on the left side of his face and ear, and received liquid sutures on his ear.
Scott and another prisoner, Robert E. Martin, were indicted on an April 5 attack on another inmate. That man required hospitalization and surgeries to repair fractures to his face, head and jaw.
The indictment was handed down by a St. Charles County grand jury Jan. 18.
Bail was set at $1,000 for Scott in the Jan. 28 incident.

These anti-social types need to be sentenced to hard labor on a prison farm for a considerable period of time. Let them earn their living there.

This guy just needs to be put away for awhile and the system needs to make him take anger managemnt for the rest of his life. Once again, the government getting involved with the raising of our children have done this by making children believe that they cant be disaplined or else the parents will get in trouble. If I did that stuff, believe me, I wouldnt be around to do anymore of that. We need to go back to the old ways, when you were more afraid of your parents than the police.
