St. Charles street crews shut down North Main Street between Jefferson and Monroe Monday to do work on the road in front of Quintessential.
Crews will spend the next few days repairing a sanitary sewer connection and a storm sewer connection.
Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 26 or sooner, said Debra Aylsworth, Director of Public Works.
In the mean time, the road is closed to vehicular traffic and parking.
