BJC Hospice Program in St. Charles County needs volunteers to help patients and their families while in hospice. There are a number of volunteer opportunities including serving as a caregiver relief or patient visitor, a nursing home visitor, a hospital patient visitor, sitting with non communicative patients, offering spiritual support, reading to patients, tutoring families, helping patients write their life stories or create art to leave with families as keepsakes. Volunteers can also help with videography, driving patients on outings, helping with yard work, cooking, providing basic housekeeping, and running errands. Learn more.
