Mayor Sally Faith proclaimed the month of March National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month during the March 7 city council meeting.

A group of 14 community residents in the local chapter of "People First" urged the community to observe the month and presented the council with a poster that celebrates what people with disabilities have to give.

At the same meeting, Faith recognized the Ancient Order of Hiberians in St. Charles County. Irish-American men who are practicing Catholics are eligible to join the group. Learn more here.
