Republican candidate for U.S. Senate John Brunner will meet with voters at Pio's in St. Charles from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. 

The St. Louis businessman is competing against Sarah Steelman, former state treasurer, and U.S. Congressman Todd Akin for the Republican nomination. The winner of the Aug. 7 primary will face democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill in November. 

Sarah Steelman is on a "Flatbed Forum Tour" of the state and is traveling to places like Warren and Cape Girardeau Counties through July 24. Todd Akin has recently been in St. Clair County. 

All three candidates debated at Lindenwood University in June.
