Homeless Woman Raped 13-Year-Old Boy in Her Car, Police Say

St. Charles Police said Katrina R. Helderle had sex with a 13-year-old boy in the back seat of her car Oct. 22 while a 12-year-old girl was in the front seat.

The car was parked in a neighborhood near the St. Charles Convention Center.

Katrina R. Helderle, 20, was charged Friday with first-degree statutory rape. Her last known address was in the first block of Pamela Drive in unincorporated St. Charles County near the city of St. Charles.

St. Charles Police said the 12-year-old girl witnessed the incident. Police said Helderle “continues to socialize with persons under age 15,” and has no ties to the St. Charles area.

Helderle is being held in St. Charles County jail on a $50,000 bond.
