Friday Food Critic: Review Culpeppers

Tell us what you think of Culpeppers in St. Charles.

When it comes to restaurants, St. Charles has it covered.

We have some great local places that many would consider community gems; we have some mom-and-pop diners; and we certainly—for better or for worse—have plenty of chains lining our main streets.

But what we don't have is a consistent food critic to tell us what's good and what's not.

That's where you come in.

We could throw some money at a professional food critic, but that's not exactly what Patch is all about. We'd much rather know the opinion of the fine folks that eat there day-in and day-out.

It's your community. You eat the food. You tell us if it passes the mark.

That's why we are introducing The Friday Food Critic, where each week we will put a different restaurant on the chopping block. You tell us how you feel about it, what dishes are good, who has the best drink specials and so forth.

This week's restaurant is CulpeppersThe  St. Charles location is one of five area Culpeppers. The restaurant is located on West Clay, which is the north service road for Highway Interstate 70 at this point. The menu offers appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers and pizza, as well as chicken, steak, ribs and seafood entrees. The popular restaurant features a full bar with domestic and imported alcoholic beverages.  This Culpeppers has banquet facilities and also offers party platters for tailgate parties, business meetings, birthday parties and other special occasions.

To review Culpepperssimply click on their name. You'll be directed toward their community listing in our places directory, where you can rate them on a five-star system or write a personal review.

At St. Charles Patch, we believe your words of wisdom are better than any food critic. Leave a note, tell us what you think.

A BAR WITH A TASTE FOR....BARFOOD. there isn't anything better than a bucket of beers and plate of spicy wings with friends. Here is a perfect place to do just that. a nice atmosphere for a dinner or late night crowd. fair warning; do not be surprised to find nothing other than typical bar food at this establishment. if you are in the mood for some greasy wings or a juicy burger, by all means come on down!
