The St. Charles Municipal Band Concert scheduled for Thursday evening at 8 p.m. has been canceled. 

With temperatures expected to reach a high of 108 on Thursday, and a high of 100 throughout the weekend, several outdoor events have been canceled or postponed.

Connections to Success canceled its outdoor event "Pink Friday" due to the weather. The event featuring the Mystique Boutique, a 53-foot semi-trailer converted into a mobile upscale resale boutique, will be rescheduled.

The Riverside Shakespeare Theatre Company's performance of As You Like It is still set for 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, but the 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday is canceled.

Producer Chris Ferguson said turnout was good over the opening weekend, in spite of the heat.
