Jimmy John's on Elm Street in St. Charles is offering $1 subs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 2 for customer appreciation day. The items that qualify for a $1 sub include nos. 1 through 6 on the menu and the BLT. Customers can opt to add additional meat for an extra $1.50, however. One per person.

Lillians of St. Charles is moving to 124 North Main Street
Lillians of St. Charles, a women's clothing shop, is moving from 112 North Main Street to 124 North Main Street, next to Tuner's Bar and Grill. The new space includes 1,000 square feet of space. The shop, which is open on select weekends during the winter, will next be open March 9 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and March 14-17. Donate Books, Get a Free Kids Meal at Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse in St. Charles is offering a free kids meal when patrons bring in a new book suitable for kids birth to age 5 between Feb. 28 and march 5. The books will go toward the St. Charles City-County Library Foundation's effort to promote childhood literacy.
