Assault Involving 15-Year-Olds, Mom, Reported At Birthday Party

St. Charles Police Reports April 20-22. The following arrest information was supplied by the St. Charles Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police are investigating an assault that occurred at a birthday party held at Arrowhead Circle in St. Charles around 11:56 p.m. April 21. Many juveniles were invited and an assault involved three 15-year-old girls and the mother of one of the girls. 

Assault

A 15-year-old pushed and challenged a 10-year-old to a fight on Shutten Street in St. Charles around 5 p.m. April 22.

Property Damage 

  • An 84-year-old woman reported her white picket fence was damaged at her home in the 3300 block of Saddleridge Drive. She reported the incident April 20. 
  • A glass front door to an abandoned building at West Clay Street was reported broken around 6:30 p.m. April 21. 
  • A window in the 200 block of Ameristar Blvd. was damaged with an unknown object. The incident was reported around 11:30 April 22.
  • A car window was smashed while parked at a church in the 3600 block of Ehlmann Road in St. Charles between 5:15 and 7:10 p.m. April 22. A purse was stolen.

  • Police arrested someone for trespassing on Elm Point trailer park at Rue Street around 4:20 p.m. April 20.

Suspicious Circumstances 

  • A 40-year-old woman reported sometime overnight on April 19, someone moved her stone rabbit statue from next to the front door and placed it in front of the door. She lived on Galt House Drive.

Stealing

  • Two men reportedly stole two Vizio televisions from around 12:30 a.m. April 21. The people were pulled over by Saint Ann Police and arrested. The TVs were recovered.
  • A 54-year-old woman reported someone ran over her plants between 8 p.m. April 20 and 9:57 a.m. April 21. She lives on Shire Lane.
  • A 24-year-old man reported his vehicle was broken into and a faceplate and 20 CDs were stolen between 3:30 a.m. April 21 and 3:30 p.m. April 21. The car was parked on North Second Street. 
  • A vehicle left without paying for $25.13 in gas from Petro Mart on Elm Street. 
  • A 75-year-old man reported his son stole his 2002 Toyota Tundra which was parked in the 400 block of Elmhurst between 8 a.m. and noon April 20. 

DWI

  • Police pulled over a vehicle that was excessively accelerating down an alley in the 200 block of North Main Street around 1:40 a.m. April 22. The person was intoxicated, according to police.
