Carol Conoyer and Cathy Glosier will be honored by Youth in Need at the Celebration of Youth dinner and auction.

Conoyer and Glosier are founders of the Celebration of Youth event. In the first year, the dinner and auction raised $30,000, according to a press release. Years later, it has grown into an event that raises $400,000 for Youth in Need in 2011.

Conoyer has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1986. Glosier has served on the board for 25 years and has also served as a member of the Board's executive committee.

“Youth In Need couldn’t be more fortunate to have had Carol and Cathy’s involvement for so many years,” said Jim Braun, Youth In Need’s President and CEO. “And it’s certain that Celebration of Youth not only wouldn’t exist but also wouldn’t be the hugely successful event that it is without their leadership, dedication and passion for children and families. These two wonderful individuals are true champions for children and so deserving of this year’s honor.”
